Read along.

'The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.'

Four images. God in your midst — present, not distant. A mighty one who saves — strong, and on your side.

Then it gets personal. He rejoices over you with gladness. Most of us assume God tolerates us, at best. The Bible says he delights in his people.

'He will quiet you by his love.' The image of a parent calming a frightened child. Love that hushes the noise inside you.

And finally — he sings. Loudly. Over you. The God who flung galaxies into orbit hums lullabies over his children. If you grew up assuming God was disappointed in you, this is the verse to memorize and recite until it becomes louder than the old voice.
