'I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?'
These hills weren't pretty postcards. They were dangerous — bandit territory on the way to Jerusalem. The pilgrim is asking, basically, 'Who's going to save me here?'
Then the answer: 'My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.'
Not the hills. Past the hills. Whatever terrain you're staring at right now, look past it to the One who made it.
