Romans 8:38-39 — 'For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.'

Paul is stacking categories. Death can't separate you. Life can't separate you. Angels can't. Demons can't. The present can't. The future can't. Height, depth, powers — nothing. He leaves no gap.

'In all creation' means nothing in the entire universe — not a black hole, not a government, not a disease, not a failure — can get between you and God's love.

And notice the location: 'in Christ Jesus our Lord.' This isn't a general statement about the universe. It's specific to people who are in Christ. If you're in him, you're sealed. Nothing gets through.

If you've ever worried that you've lost God's love, this is the verse to memorize. Paul doesn't say 'maybe.' He says 'I am sure.' And his certainty is based on the cross, not on your performance.
