Isaiah 26:3 — 'You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.' This is a promise from a prophet writing to a people who would soon lose everything.

'Perfect peace' is shalom shalom — peace upon peace. Not just the absence of conflict. The fullness of wholeness. Doubled for emphasis. The deepest kind of peace, layered on itself.

'Whose mind is stayed on you.' Stayed means fixed, established, leaning on. The mind is not wandering. Not multitasking. Not anxious. It's fixed on God. That's the condition.

And the reason: 'because he trusts in you.' Trust is the foundation. A fixed mind is the result of trust. You trust him, so you keep your thoughts on him. And he keeps you in peace.

If your mind is scattered today, the invitation is to stay it. Fix it. Bring it back to God. Not because you're disciplined, but because you trust him. And the peace follows.
