Proverbs 3:5: 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.'
Two commands. Trust him fully. Don't lean on what you think you know.
Notice it doesn't say 'don't think.' It says don't lean — don't put your full weight on your own reasoning.
Your understanding is limited. God's isn't. When the two disagree, the wise person trusts God and adjusts their thinking.
This is hard. Your reasoning feels reliable because it's yours. Faith means trusting a wisdom bigger than yours.
