Isaiah 6:8: 'And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here I am! Send me.'
This comes after Isaiah has seen God on the throne and been undone by his holiness.
Notice the order: vision of God first, then willingness to be sent. Mission flows from worship.
Isaiah doesn't ask what the job is. He just volunteers. 'Send me.'
When you've really seen who God is, you stop bargaining about the assignment. You just say yes.
