Read along.

John 1:14: 'And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.'

The eternal Word — the same one who spoke creation — became human.

Dwelt among us literally means 'tabernacled' — pitched his tent in our neighborhood.

Full of grace and truth. Not grace at the expense of truth, or truth without grace. Both, perfectly.

That's who Jesus is. And John says: we saw him.
