Ruth, a Moabite widow, refuses to leave her widowed mother-in-law Naomi.
She binds herself to Naomi's life, people, and God.
It cost her everything — homeland, comfort, future prospects.
And God honored it: she became the great-grandmother of King David, and an ancestor of Jesus. Loyalty matters to God.
