Galatians 6:9 — 'Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.'
Paul knew people would get tired. He's not naïve. Doing good is exhausting, especially when no one notices, when the people you serve push back, or when results don't come quickly.
'In due season' is the part we hate. We want the harvest now. But seeds work in their own time. Some of the good you're sowing this year won't sprout for ten.
'If we do not give up' is the condition. The only way to miss the harvest is to walk away before it shows up.
