'Assurance' is a word from the financial world — it can mean the substance behind a claim, the title deed to a property. Faith isn't hoping a house exists. It's holding the paperwork.
'Conviction of things not seen' isn't believing in spite of evidence. It's treating God's promises as real evidence — because they come from someone who has never broken his word.
Notice what faith is not. It's not a feeling of certainty. It's not the absence of doubt. It's choosing to act on what God has said, even when you can't see how it'll work out.
