Picture the scene. The Red Sea ahead, no boats, no bridge. Pharaoh's chariots roaring up behind. The Israelites are screaming at Moses for bringing them out into the desert to die.
Moses says: 'The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.' Then God parts the sea.
'Be still' here doesn't mean meditate. It's a military command — hold your line, stop flailing, stay where I put you. The battle is being fought, just not by you.
Some situations in your life are like that. You don't have a strategy. You can't fix it. The only faithful move is to stop trying to rescue yourself and let God act.
