Read along.

Goliath is enormous, armored, experienced. David is a teenager with a sling. By every metric, this fight is over before it starts.

But David's speech rewrites the math: 'You come to me with a sword and a spear and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts.'

He's not bringing weapons to fight Goliath. He's bringing God.

The battle, David says, is the Lord's. He's just a delivery mechanism for what's already been decided in heaven. Bring God to your giant.
