Matthew 28:19 — 'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.' This is the mission statement of the church.

'Go' — not 'stay and hope they come.' The church is a sent people. Movement is built into the identity.

'Make disciples' — not just converts. Not just church members. Disciples. People who follow Jesus, learn from him, and obey him. That's the goal.

And the promise at the end: 'I am with you always, to the end of the age.' You're not sent alone. Jesus goes with you. That's what makes the going possible.
