Hebrews 4:16 — 'Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.'

A throne is normally where you don't get to go uninvited. You wait for permission. You approach carefully. But this throne is different.

'With confidence.' Boldly. Without flinching. Because the one on the throne is the one who already paid for your access.

'The throne of grace.' Not the throne of judgment. Not the throne of inspection. The throne where the dominant atmosphere is grace.

And when do you come? 'In time of need.' Not when you've fixed yourself. When you need help. That's exactly when the invitation is loudest.
