Psalm 139:14 — 'I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.'
'Fearfully made' doesn't mean made scary. It means made with reverence, with care, with the kind of attention a master craftsman gives his best work.
'Wonderfully made' means uniquely, marvelously, distinctly. You're not a copy. You're a one-of-a-kind work of God.
'My soul knows it very well.' Deep down, you know you matter. The world tries to convince you otherwise, but your soul keeps remembering the truth.
And the response is praise, not comparison. Not 'I wish I were them.' But 'God, thank you for making me, on purpose, exactly the way you did.'
