'Do not be anxious about anything.' That command would be cruel without what follows.

The alternative isn't suppression. It's transfer. Take what's worrying you and move it from your head to God's hands through prayer.

'With thanksgiving' is the key ingredient. Gratitude reframes the anxiety. It reminds you who you're talking to.
