Genesis 50:20: 'As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.'
Joseph has every reason to take revenge. His brothers sold him into slavery. He spent years in prison for something he didn't do.
But Joseph names what happened — 'you meant evil against me.' He doesn't minimize it. He doesn't say it was okay.
Then he reframes it: 'God meant it for good.' Two agents, two intentions, one outcome. God didn't author the evil, but he wove it into a good purpose.
