Exodus 14:14: 'The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.'
Israel is trapped. The Red Sea is in front of them. Pharaoh's army is behind them. They're panicking.
Moses doesn't tell them to fight harder. He says: be silent. Stop the panic. The Lord will handle it.
Then God parts the sea, walks Israel through on dry ground, and crushes the army behind them. Israel did nothing but walk forward.
There are seasons when God calls you to act. There are also seasons when he calls you to be silent and watch him work. Knowing which is which is half of wisdom.
