Philippians 1:6: 'And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.'
He began it. The initiative was always his.
He'll finish it. Not you. You're not the closer of your own sanctification.
And the completion date is the day of Christ — when he returns.
So if you're still a mess, that's expected. God isn't done. And he doesn't abandon projects.
