David has brought the ark of the covenant — God's visible presence — back into Jerusalem. It's a high point. He composes a song and gives this line in the middle of it: 'Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually.'
Two things to seek. His strength — power for what you can't do alone. His presence — the company of God himself. You need both. They aren't interchangeable.
And the word that carries everything is 'continually.' Not once. Not at crisis. Not Sunday morning. Continually.
Faith isn't a status you reach. It's a direction you keep facing.
