David's answer to Goliath wasn't about David's slingshot.

Goliath has been taunting Israel's army for forty days. Nobody will fight him. He's nine feet tall, fully armored, undefeated.
Then a teenage shepherd named David shows up. Goliath laughs at him. And David says: 'You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.'
Notice what David doesn't do. He doesn't brag about his sling. He doesn't pretend he's stronger than Goliath. He simply reframes whose fight this actually is.
Most of our giants are smaller than Goliath, but they still terrify us. Faith isn't pretending the giant isn't there. It's remembering who's standing behind you.
