Matthew 28:19-20 — 'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'
'Go.' Movement. Out of the room. Out of the country. Out of comfort. The default is motion, not stillness.
'Make disciples.' Not converts. Disciples — apprentices, followers, learners. The goal is whole lives shaped by Jesus.
'Baptizing and teaching.' That's the how. A public marker of allegiance, and ongoing instruction in how to live.
And the promise that holds it all together: 'I am with you always.' You're never sent alone. The one who commissions you goes with you.
