Psalm 100:4 — 'Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!'
Gates and courts are temple language. Approaching God's presence had a path — outer gates, inner courts, the holy place. The psalm tells you how to walk in.
Thanksgiving is the first posture. Before requests, before complaints, count what God has already done. Gratitude opens you up.
Then praise. Praise is gratitude turned outward — speaking the worth of God. Bless his name means say good things about who he is.
Gratitude is how you cross the threshold today. Before you ask for anything, name three things you can thank him for. You'll find you're already inside his presence.
