Matthew 5:16 — 'In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.'
Let your light shine. The verb is permissive — let it. You already are light. The question is whether you'll stop covering it.
Good works are meant to be visible. Jesus doesn't say hide them. He says do them where they can be seen — not to brag, but to bless.
But the goal isn't applause for you. It's glory to your Father. People look at your life, trace the light back, and end up worshipping God.
Quiet faithfulness counts. The way you do your job, treat your family, handle your money — all of it is light. Let it shine today.
